A Life in Music

Sherry Leigh Williams is a singer, songwriter, and community leader whose music work is rooted in storytelling, collaboration, and cultural connection. Through Sweetgrass Presents and Salt Spring Music Events, she has helped host and promote over 200 live shows, supporting artists, audiences, and community cultural life on Salt Spring Island.

Her producing work includes Ladies of Jazz, along with a wide range of local music programming and special events. She has performed with bands including Local Motion, Harbour Lights, Shades of Gray, and Southbound and Friends, and has hosted the Legion Songwriter/Country/Folk Night as a weekly series. Her entertainment coordination has also included Friday and Saturday shows at Harbour House Hotel, the Garden Faire Stage, and the Waterfront Country Cafe.
